ARDRES

A town situated near to the coast and next to the famous "Field of the Cloth of Gold", site where the historical meeting between François 1 of France and Henry V111 of England took place. Ardres is doted with a 64 hectare artificial lake, forests, canals, etc.. You will love its green and flowery environement which gave the town its 3rd 'flowers' in the national and annual 'France in Bloom' contest.

Not to be missed :
The lake and its lush green surroundings; its beautiful perennial and annual shrubs and bushes next to the Post Office; the original flowering mosaics that are scattered around the town.

The Town Hall gardens with its poignant monument to the 6 Burghers of Calais created by Rodin. The recently restored nature trail around the Nieulay Fort .

OYE PLAGE
