in Condette, a town right in the heart of a protected
region. The wealth and diversity of this town located
between sea, sand and forest are particularly interesting.
The nature trails around the splendid Chateau are

seaside resort of Le Portel lies in the heart of the
Côte d'Opale sheltered by the port of Boulogne
and the Alprech Cap. A warm 'floral' welcome awaits
throughout the year with the Falaise Park, (the most
important bird observation site on the coast as it
lies on a migratopry route), has 27 hectares of hedges,
dune vegetation, springs, artificial lake and lawns;
the public gardens which each year display original
and creative floral decorations, the Ansel square
a small shady public garden with fast flowing rivers,
and the Alpech Fort a historical site that has recently
been restored.

some years now Saint-Martin Boulogne, a borough
of Boulogne-sur-Mer, has developped a certain originality
in its floral and plant compositions, particularly
the one that was done on its roundabouts which earned
the town the "Football World Cup" national
prize.

The roundabout with its ever changing metallic edifice
that is used to announce the important events in
the Boulonnais region, and the roundabout with its
theme gardens : Japanese, water, nature, etc..

1900's. During the summer season numerous events
and street entertainment take place.
Not to be missed :
See the floral mosaic creations : the hot
air balloon and the golfer. An original idea : a
